Local transcription

Get started

  1. Download and run the installer.
  2. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Open Velora and choose Sign in. Your browser opens to confirm the device code.
  4. The first launch downloads the speech model once; after that, transcription works offline.

System requirements

  • Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • CPU with AVX2 support (most processors from 2015 onward)
  • 8 GB RAM or more (lower-memory PCs use a lighter speech model)
  • About 1 GB free disk space for the app and speech model
